Video is streamed at a fairly high frame rate and gives the look of a motion video. The latency of 15 milliseconds is at times slightly faster than the telephone. It can simply add video to a regular telephone conversation.

The given technology is a Peer-to-peer as well as Server-client application, that makes it simple and economical to scale, for one-to-one and one-to-many conferencing parties. It is difficult to predict how much bandwidth is needed because the application adjusts the data rate depending on the amount of motion. In a regular One-on-One conversation, data rates may constantly fluctuate between 80 kbps to 200 kbps. When there is a lot of motion in the video, then data might be sent in short bursts at up to 300 kbps. Please note that it was not designed for use over dial-up modems due to their inherent flaws.

This technology uses Real Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP). Under this TCP-based protocol, connections are initiated by the client-side application. Unlike HTTP, the RTMP employs a persistent socket connection, enabling two-way communication.
It was designed with both the Internet and the corporate enterprise network in mind. In corporate networks, firewalls often pose a problem for peer-to-peer communications software. There is a unique networking software that combines all network messaging into a single channel. This allows calls to be made through small office routers and network address translation boxes.

To run the web conferencing application the end user does not need to download any software onto the PC, since the technology utilizes Macromedia Flash object oriented programming and eliminates copying and installing the client software.
As most of todays computers support rich multimedia Macromedia Flash format, this product is supported on virtually any PDA or a organizer assistant that is wirelessly connected to the internet.
